Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance financial systems used across departments
- Collaborate with finance and IT teams to align system capabilities with business needs
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate timely resolutions
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes through system operations
- Develop and document system workflows and user procedures
- Assist in the implementation of new financial software modules
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across financial platforms
- Perform system testing for updates, patches, and integrations
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements for system improvements
- Monitor system performance and recommend optimization strategies
- Create training materials for finance system users
- Provide user support and resolve access or functionality issues
- Enforce internal controls within financial systems
- Assist in compliance audits related to financial data and processes
- Track and manage system-related change requests
- Integrate financial data from multiple sources into centralized systems
- Support automation initiatives to reduce manual processes
- Validate system-generated financial reports for accuracy
- Work with vendors on support and enhancement projects
- Maintain system configuration documentation
- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning for financial systems
- Ensure role-based access controls are properly maintained
- Stay current with updates in financial software and technologies
- Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate teams
- Contribute to system security and data privacy practices
