As custodians of Amgen's technological and data strategies, we are responsible for governing, optimizing, and standardizing technology ecosystems across Manufacturing, Commercial, Drug Research, Clinical Development, and G&A sectors. Our leadership and influence direct the awareness and education required by global solutions architect communities to deliver cutting-edge innovation to their product teams. Preferred Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years' experience leading Fortune 500 enterprises with development and implementation of composable architectures, artificial intelligence/machine learning solutions, "clean core" platform principles, applications, integrations and cloud services' solutions including containerization, serverless, high performance compute and CI/CD principles. - Minimum of 5 years' IT experience in life sciences or pharmaceutical industries. - Minimum of 5 years' experience coaching and leading technical staff. - Minimum of 2 years' experience with the following enterprise platforms (AWS, Salesforce, Veeva, Mulesoft, SAP, OpenAI Enterprise ChatGPT, Microsoft Azure, Databricks) - Proficient in latest cloud and security architectures - Enterprise software development experience, leveraging SDLC, Agile and DevSecOps practices Key Activities for Title include: - Governance and education of Amgen business, information, application, integration and cloud standards and practices to AIN technology communities. - Active membership on Amgen's Enterprise Architecture Review Board. - Support incubation, prototyping and evaluation activities for new technologies. - Provide guidance and troubleshooting support for complex major incidents, as needed. - Ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership and peers, including strong writing skills to draft and publish internal white/position papers, technical documentation, SOP's, architectural specifications, business cases, etc. - Ability to operate effectively in a complex and dynamic working environment, ability to maintain focus on the big picture, ability to collect, digest and assemble information from various sources to enable relevant business analyses and facilitate decision-making Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree and 12 years of Enterprise Architecture experience OR Master's degree and 10 years of Enterprise Architecture experience OR Bachelor's degree and 8 years of Enterprise Architecture experience OR Associate degree and 10 years of Enterprise Architecture experience OR High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Enterprise Architecture experience
