Experian seeks a Senior Architect to shape our long-term technology strategy and ensure a scalable, secure, and interoperable enterprise architecture aligned with our strategic goals. In this role, you will design and evolve a resilient technology ecosystem by collaborating closely with business and technology stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to design and build the next generation of cloud applications and infrastructure.
- Act as a critical link between teams, using influence and negotiation skills to ensure technical projects align with strategic goals.
- Mentor engineers and promote a culture of high-quality, secure, and automated development practices.
- Architect robust solutions for processing high-volume data workloads and ensuring systems are secure and scalable.
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on software engineering and architecture-focused experience.
- Proven background working with AWS and/or GCP.
- Experience designing and executing cloud migration strategies, including assessment, planning, and roadmaps.
- Proven experience modernizing legacy applications and re-architecting on-prem systems to run natively in the cloud.
- Solid understanding of modernization strategies: rehosting, replatforming, refactoring, and build vs. buy assessments.
- Proven experience designing secure, scalable cloud applications and infrastructure.
- Strong experience with large-scale data processing systems.
- Familiarity with non-functional requirements (performance, reliability, scalability, security).
- Ability to drive architectural vision and influence across cross-functional teams.
- Strong negotiation and consensus-building skills.
- Experience engaging with senior leadership and technical teams to support strategic decision-making.
- Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex concepts in business-relevant language.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced English proficiency for daily interaction with global teams.
- Availability to work in a hybrid model in São Carlos/SP.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the AdTech ecosystem.
- Exposure to high-volume marketing systems or event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of privacy, consent management, or data governance models.
- Certifications in AWS, GCP, or architecture frameworks.
