Gartner, Inc. is hiring a Senior Director Analyst, Enterprise Architect to join our Business and Technology Insights (BTI) group. In this thought leadership role, you will create must-have insights and market predictions that guide world-leading organizations.
What You'll Do
- Create innovative, thought-provoking, and highly leveraged 'must-have insights' content.
- Develop new insights through thought leadership and offer compelling, actionable approaches to client needs.
- Bring provocative, independent insights to Gartner leaders to evolve research agendas.
- Research, analyze, and predict market trends and shifts to provide clients and vendors with actionable insights.
- Provide clients and prospects with actionable advice via virtual or face-to-face interactions.
- Create and deliver high-value presentation materials for Gartner events, industry conferences, and client briefings.
- Provide high-quality and timely content peer review.
- Build credibility as an industry expert to represent Gartner insights, methodology, and strategy.
- Actively participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions, collaborating effectively with peers.
- Identify research process improvements to help the team provide excellent service delivery.
- Be a mentor and a coach by supporting more junior team members.
- Be client-centric while actively seeking to help clients engage regularly with Gartner insights.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience leading or directing enterprise architecture activities within a corporate setting.
- Technical expertise for architecture in one or more domain areas: AI, data, applications, infrastructure, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to connect technical expertise with C-level strategy and guidance.
- Executive presence; can immediately establish credibility with executives and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high-quality deliverables.
- Excellence in research and writing ability.
- Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills; ability to engage clients and answer questions simply.
- Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data; can effectively apply patterns and frameworks.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams in a multicultural, matrixed global team.
- Ability to represent Gartner's research methodology and strategies effectively at all levels.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.
Nice to Have
- Graduate degree preferred.
- Direct reporting line to CIO/CTO or similar position is desired.

- Compensation range: $172,000 USD - $202,500 USD.
