CVS Health is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps enablement team. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, test, and deliver automated solutions, frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines that enhance our development and operational efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and implement CI/CD pipelines for Healthfirst applications.
- Meet with development teams to understand how to automate deployments.
- Work with development teams to codify configuration in KV Database.
- Test implemented designs.
- Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning.
- Handle last level support for code deployments in all environments.
- Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve our DevOps processes.
- Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations.
- Brainstorm new ideas and ways to improve development delivery.
- Consult with peers for feedback during testing stages.
- Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards.
- Maintain day-to-day management and administration of projects.
- Manage CI and CD tools with team.
- Document and design various processes around DevOps; update existing processes.
- Improve infrastructure development and application development.
- Follow all best practices and procedures as established by the organization.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a HS Diploma or GED from an accredited institution with equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience building CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools such as Git, Maven, Ant, Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory and Consul.
- 2+ years of DevOps experience with one of the following: AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Experience with DevOps Culture and Agile Development.
- Previous experience with software development, infrastructure development, or development and operations.
Nice to Have
- Containerization Management experience (Kubernetes and Docker).
- Experience using Veracode.
- Experience working in Agile Release Management Tools.
- Experience using Cyberark and Conjur.
- Experience using Selenium.
- Experience with Linux infrastructures, database SQL (MS SQL, MySQL), CI/CD tools, scripting such as JavaScript, PHP, Python, PowerShell, Groovy, Ruby, .NET, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, Agile workflow methodologies.
- Experience with AWS components such as SAM, lambda, API gateway, S3, CloudFront, CloudFormation, EC2, RDS, RedShift, IAM, SSM, Secrets Manager, and DynamoDB.
- AWS DevOps Certification.
- Experience with Terraform modules and registries.
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance) with compliance requirements is a plus.

- Compensation: Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $131,900 - $190,570. All Other Locations (within approved locations): $117,400 - $174,675.
