Responsibilities
- Define and direct the research roadmap for new generative AI agents and large language models, establishing technical vision for the team
- Advance innovation in large language model use cases, particularly in reasoning, text summarization, and interactive systems
- Determine strategic choices in model design, training methodologies, and production deployment of generative AI systems
- Provide technical mentorship to data scientists and promote high standards in engineering practices
- Lead collaborative efforts across teams and engage with executive leadership to ensure alignment between technology initiatives and business objectives
- Demonstrate technical leadership through public speaking, research publications, and industry engagement
- Develop and enforce evaluation frameworks, technical standards, and best practices for generative AI development
