What You'll Do
You will originate and structure complex machine learning problems that push beyond conventional approaches. Your tasks will involve crafting evaluation frameworks that demand specialized knowledge, then analyzing AI-generated responses for accuracy, innovation, and sound methodology. You must clearly identify and explain shortcomings in logic, assumptions, or execution. Each problem you develop should include documentation on difficulty level, required expertise, and anticipated failure patterns.
Requirements
You need graduate-level training—preferably a master’s or doctoral degree—in a technical or scientific field with relevance to machine learning. A strong command of ML techniques, including model selection, feature engineering, and performance metrics, is essential. You must be deeply familiar with current research frontiers in your domain and recognize where standard ML approaches fail. Exceptional written communication is non-negotiable: you must express intricate concepts with clarity and precision. This role demands self-direction and the ability to manage challenging, independent work.
