Blue Cross NC is hiring a Sr Client Service Advisor

About the Role

NC Health Affiliates LLC DBA Blue Cross NC is looking for a Sr Client Service Advisor to strengthen our sales capacity and client partnerships. In this role, you will act as a critical liaison among Sales, Underwriting, Medical Support, Marketing, and Operations, ensuring data accuracy and smooth execution for our Dental, Vision, and Ancillary lines of business.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with large and complex RFP requests, including monitoring, tracking, and managing related reporting.
  • Scrub census files and data, identifying missing information and requesting clarification prior to releasing RFPs.
  • Manage RFP logging and opportunity creation in SFDC, including cross-sale entries.
  • Partner with internal medical teams to obtain product-specific disruption, carryover, and other required reports for new business and renewals.
  • Analyze and deliver opportunity reports to support Account Managers and Account Executives with planning.
  • Provide monthly renewal support, maintaining carrier renewal spreadsheets and retrieving partner renewals for a shared book of business.
  • Manage high-level escalated issues related to benefits, products, and claims to ensure timely resolution and communication.
  • Provide direct support on complex case-level activities to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
  • Review and approve Dental Custom Group Summaries (CGS).
  • Enter approved Ancillary Credits into SFDC per leadership direction.
  • Handle direct business submission (DBS) tasks to move business into the internal billing system.
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance across SFDC entries and opportunity workflows.
  • Work with Healthcare and National Accounts teams to secure quarterly reporting for group reviews.
  • Serve as liaison with ancillary operations for Marketing-Group Refresh activities.
  • Represent sales and account management for input on project work, including Blue Quote code releases.
  • Attend enrollment meetings with a focus on Dental, Vision, and Ancillary to ensure smooth execution.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required).
  • 5+ years of experience in a related field.
  • In lieu of a degree, 7+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Must be able to obtain a North Carolina Health and Life Insurance license within 60 days of employment.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
