Cognizant is seeking a Senior Business Analyst specializing in Market Access for the pharmaceutical sector. This hybrid position is based in Philadelphia, PA, and focuses on contracting, chargebacks, rebates, and regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do
- Map end-to-end business workflows with a strong process understanding
- Validate data between sales, chargeback, and contract systems
- Manage the chargeback life cycle from claim submission through validation and resolution
- Handle rebate processing, including eligibility validation and dispute management
- Reconcile sales, chargebacks, and rebate accruals using analytical tools
- Apply master data management and data stewardship principles
- Analyze GPO/IDN membership hierarchies and customer affiliation structures
- Ensure regulatory compliance for programs including Medicaid Drug Rebate, 340B, PHS pricing, and FSS contracts
- Analyze GTN components, comparing forecast versus actual accruals
What We're Looking For
- Strong business process understanding and ability to map end-to-end workflows
- Understanding of contracting with distributors, wholesalers, and specialty pharmacies
- Deep expertise in the chargeback life cycle
- Proficiency in rebate processing, eligibility validation, and dispute management
- Working knowledge of EDI transactions, such as 844/849 for chargebacks
- Experience using analytical tools to reconcile sales, chargebacks, and rebate accruals
- Knowledge of master data management and data stewardship principles
- Understanding of GPO/IDN membership hierarchies and customer affiliation structures
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance for Medicaid Drug Rebate Program, 340B Program, PHS pricing, FSS contracts, and Government Pricing
- Understanding of GTN components and forecast vs. actual accrual analysis
- Experience with contract management tools, specifically Model N FLEX all modules
- Proficiency in Excel modeling and prototyping
- Understanding of JIRA
