Keywords Studios is building a spontaneous application pool for future Community Manager and Social Media Manager roles in the video games industry. This remote role involves managing and growing gaming communities across various platforms, creating content, and fostering safe, welcoming environments for players.
What You'll Do
- Review all incoming community interactions on different social media platforms and communicate directly with players.
- Respond to comments and player queries in a timely manner.
- Create engaging content for social media.
- Build in-depth reports on community growth and engagement, and propose improvements based on findings.
- Assist the developer by collating and reporting on player feedback.
- Help foster and maintain a safe and welcoming environment for a game community.
- Moderate discussions and comments following set community guidelines.
- Proactively suggest new ways to grow and care for your community.
- Create and update corresponding documentation as needed.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 2 years of professional community management or social media experience in gaming.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Passion for video games and social media.
- Strong understanding of social media and community management platforms/channels (e.g., Discord, Twitch, Reddit, Instagram, Facebook).
- Expertise with social listening and social management best practices.
- Experience managing or moderating a thriving gaming community.
- Higher education in marketing, business administration, communication, adult education, or a related field.
Nice to Have
- Bilingualism, particularly English paired with French, Spanish, or German.
