About the Role
The role involves delivering speech and language therapy services remotely to children, conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with families and educational teams in Spanish and English.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual speech and language assessments for children
- Deliver individualized therapy sessions via telehealth platforms
- Create and implement treatment plans based on evaluation results
- Collaborate with families to support communication goals
- Document client progress and update treatment strategies
- Communicate effectively in Spanish and English with clients and caregivers
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Monitor client outcomes and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and patient privacy standards
- Provide feedback and resources to parents and guardians
- Use standardized assessment tools for diagnosis and progress tracking
- Support early intervention and school-aged populations
- Ensure culturally appropriate therapy techniques
- Coordinate care with educators and other providers
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
- Engage in ongoing professional development
- Follow state and federal telepractice regulations
- Respond to referrals and initiate evaluations promptly
