Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Specialty Sales Manager to play a senior-level role in accelerating the adoption of specialized surgical procedures and technologies. This remote position in France requires a strategic professional who excels in hands-on engagement, clinical education, and cross-functional collaboration to grow utilization across multiple hospital specialties.
What You'll Do
- Identify and develop Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in assigned surgical specialties, including Colorectal, General Surgery, Thoracic, GYN, and Hernia, expanding into additional indications as needed.
- Collaborate with sales leadership, marketing, and local representatives to implement strategic market development activities.
- Support the development of case observation sites and Epicenters to enhance procedural adoption.
- Conduct onsite training, wet labs, and advanced regional training programs for surgeons.
- Provide coaching and feedback to local sales representatives to improve their specialty sales competency.
- Serve as a liaison for market intelligence, including procedural trends, technology adoption, and training effectiveness.
- Lead initiatives to scale the launch of new procedures and products while monitoring utilization and outcomes.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in medical device sales, preferably in surgical technologies.
- A proven track record of individual sales excellence and strong clinical selling skills.
- Deep clinical knowledge across multiple surgical specialties (Colorectal, General Surgery, GYN, Thoracic, Hernia).
- Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and influence peers in a dynamic environment.
- Effective communication and presentation skills across diverse stakeholders.
- Fluent in both French and English.
- Ability and willingness to travel overnight up to 2–3 days per week (approximately 50%).
