McDonald's Canada is seeking a Specialist, Translations for a one-year contractual position. In this remote role, you will be accountable for the translation, revision, and quality assurance of a wide variety of administrative documents and internal communications from English to French.

What You'll Do

Translate documents of varying complexity from English to French, primarily internal communications from Corporate and Regional offices.
Revise translated materials as needed.
Contribute to team proofreading of documents prior to printing.
Ensure consistency and quality control of all translated work.
Assist in building and enhancing a terminology database.
Prioritize your own workload to meet tight deadlines.

What We're Looking For

A specialized bachelor's degree in translation or equivalent.
3-5 years of professional translation experience.
Fluency in English and French, both written and oral.
Proven capacity to work effectively within a team.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple concurrent projects.

Nice to Have

Proficiency or interest in French to English translation.
Knowledge of translation memory or translation project management software.
McDonald’s restaurant experience.

You will report to the Linguistic Services lead and collaborate closely with multiple departments across the organization.
