McDonald's Corporation is hiring a Specialist, Transaction Management for a contractual translator role. You'll be responsible for the translation, revision, and quality assurance of various administrative documents and internal communications. This is a one-year, remote contract position.
What You'll Do
- Translate documents of varying complexity from English to French for various departments and regional offices.
- Revise translated documents as needed.
- Participate in team proofreading of documents for printing.
- Ensure uniformity and quality of translated content.
- Maintain and update the internal terminology database.
- Manage workload priorities to meet deadlines.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in translation or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Perfect mastery of English and French, both oral and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Nice to Have
- Aptitude or interest in translation from French to English.
- Knowledge of computer-assisted translation software or translation request management software.
- Experience working in a McDonald's restaurant.
Team & Environment
You will report directly to the Head of Language Services.
Benefits & Compensation
- Annual salary range: $61,440.00 - $81,919.00
