Responsibilities
- Plan and execute updates and modifications to the R&D laboratory network infrastructure
- Partner with cybersecurity teams to apply and maintain industry-standard security practices
- Maintain high levels of security, scalability, and dependable performance in R&D network systems
- Lead technical innovation by keeping current with evolving network technologies and methodologies
- Serve as subject matter expert for R&D firewall configurations, including internal traffic and cloud operations
- Record system architecture and operational workflows for consistency and knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with management, system architects, and infrastructure units to enhance network connectivity, security, and cloud integration
- Automate setup, rollout, and ongoing management of network configurations and tools
- Build and sustain strong cross-functional relationships with IT and business units to deliver network solutions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation covering system diagrams, hardware inventories, and specifications
- Deliver training and expert support to technical staff and end users as needed
