Cencora is hiring a Specialist Local Pharmacovigilance and Medical information

At Cencora, we are looking for a Specialist Local Pharmacovigilance and Medical Information. In this role, you will execute operational tasks and manage technical delivery and project management within the field of Local Pharmacovigilance, while also handling Medical Information requests. Your work is central to maintaining safety and compliance for our products.

What You'll Do

• Set up and manage the local pharmacovigilance system.
• Conduct Local Literature Search and PV Intelligence Screening.
• Manage Local ICSR Management and maintain the Local PSMF.
• Perform local adaptation and submission of PSUR / RMP.
• Conduct local signal detection and implement additional Risk Minimization Measures.
• Review materials relating to local post-authorization safety.
• Participate in PV-relevant audits and inspections.
• Provide a monthly PV report on the status of the local PV system.
• Ensure PV training of affiliate employees, service providers, and Third Parties.
• Issue, review, and maintain pharmacovigilance procedures.
• Address Medical Information requests (MIR) from multiple programs and sources.
• Ensure all MIR are processed and documented according to procedures.
• Identify and document adverse events, product complaints, and quality issues.
• Report AE information to the pharmacovigilance department.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including regulatory, medical affairs, and marketing.
• Participate in product and therapeutic area training as required.
• Support the project team on report clarification, metrics, and compliance investigations.
• Escalate L2 MIR as per project agreement.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Perform quality control of MIR to ensure adherence to project requirements.
• Reconcile medical information reports with adverse events and complaint reports.
• Take on primary tasks in other service lines and project management activities as required.

What We're Looking For

• Professional education or University degree in Life Science.
• Basic understanding/knowledge in the field of pharmacovigilance and medical information.
• Fluency in Finnish.
• Ability to prioritize and manage own time and tasks.
• Ability to manage internal and external client relationships on operational and team lead levels.
• Good communication skills (written and verbally); capability to point out issues and provide potential solutions.
• English business fluent.
