What You'll Do
Manage high-priority and complex patient placement cases through a centralized contact center, serving individuals requiring long-term dialysis. Respond to incoming calls, emails, and faxes from healthcare providers and internal teams, ensuring each referral is processed efficiently and with care. Initiate outbound communications to field leadership to accelerate placement timelines and maintain visibility on urgent cases.
Focus on escalated placements, particularly those designated as high-risk, and work closely with the Spotlight team to resolve barriers. Use internal systems and coordination tools to track progress, verify funding sources before admission, and ensure compliance with placement protocols. Conduct regular audits to identify areas for process improvement and support training initiatives for colleagues across departments.
Build and maintain strong relationships with regional operations leaders, including administrators and directors, to streamline admissions. Support team development by sharing best practices and clarifying escalation procedures. Adapt to dynamic situations, including emergencies, by maintaining flexible availability during expanded hours.
Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is essential. Candidates must demonstrate solid data entry skills, with a typing speed between 25 and 40 keystrokes per minute. The role requires availability from 6 AM to 7 PM, including non-traditional shifts, to support patients and teams as needed. Strong interpersonal abilities are critical for fostering collaboration across departments and levels.
