Glastonbury Public Schools is looking for a Special Education Tutor to join our team at Nayaug School. This part-time position focuses on providing dedicated tutoring support to enhance educational outcomes for students with special needs.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct, one-on-one or small group tutoring to students with special education requirements.
- Implement individualized learning strategies aligned with student IEPs and goals.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student performance and growth.
What We're Looking For
- Experience tutoring or teaching students with special needs.
- Strong understanding of special education principles and learning accommodations.
- Ability to build rapport with students and adapt instruction to diverse learning styles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and a commitment to a consistent part-time schedule.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located at Nayaug School. The role requires in-person presence during scheduled tutoring hours.
