Talex.ai is looking for a Spanish Speech Data Annotator to produce high-quality AI training data. In this role, you will apply your native-level proficiency and cultural knowledge to ensure accurate annotation across Spanish dialects.
What You'll Do
- Transcribe Spanish speech accurately, distinguishing dialectal differences (Spain vs. Latin America).
- Annotate pronunciation variants, connected speech phenomena, and verb conjugation.
- Tag paralinguistic events such as hesitations, laughs, or background noises.
- Ensure transcriptions reflect formal and informal registers correctly.
- Maintain annotation consistency and adhere to internal quality standards.
What We're Looking For
- Native-level proficiency in Spanish with awareness of dialects.
- Strong understanding of phonetics, grammar, and register variation.
- Cultural familiarity with both European and Latin American contexts.
- Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in linguistics, transcription, or speech annotation.
- Familiarity with generative AI or machine learning concepts.
