Booz Allen Hamilton is hiring a Space Solutions Architect to support Combatant Commands and Service Components. You will identify technology-based solutions for critical capability gaps and advise senior leaders on available space capabilities.
What You'll Do
- Support Combatant Commands and Service Components by identifying technology-based solutions for capability gaps.
- Coordinate with counterparts across geographies and synergize where possible.
- Gain an understanding of current and future challenges that could hinder performance in exercises or a future fight.
- Craft ideal-state solutions and compare against commercially available options.
- Advise senior leaders on available space capabilities and their applicability in-region.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with space within the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community as a Commissioned Officer or Senior NCO.
- Experience supporting Combatant Commands or Service Component Commands.
- Experience researching, developing, organizing, and presenting materials for senior company and DoD leadership.
- Experience organizing, training, and equipping functions, including JCIDS activities, AoAs, CONOPs, and Defense Acquisitions.
- Knowledge of DoD requirements and acquisition processes.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor's degree.
Nice to Have
- Experience serving in a leadership position on a Joint or Service Staff.
- Experience using analytical tools to display the impacts of capability tradeoffs and impacts on potential alternatives, such as CAMEO or DAF DEE.
- Experience performing risk analyses and proposing risk mitigations.
- Experience with Joint Exercises.
- Experience with technical writing.
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Graduate of an Advanced Military Studies program, such as SAMS or JAWS.

- Compensation: $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).
