Ffive is looking for a Solutions Engineer III to join our sales organization in Switzerland. Your mission is to understand customer technical and business challenges and propose effective F5 solutions that meet their needs. You'll act as a trusted technical advisor, collaborating closely with an Account Manager to achieve sales targets.
What You'll Do
- Articulate F5 product strategy and value proposition for customer business objectives.
- Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs, demos, and proof of concepts.
- Determine opportunity viability and map out organizational structure.
- Drive the sales process by identifying the Technical Decision Maker and securing their technical validation.
- Consistently deliver world-class customer service throughout the customer life cycle.
- Work collaboratively with internal technical and sales resources, sharing best practices and expertise.
What We're Looking For
- BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years in a technical, customer-facing role (e.g., Solutions Engineer).
- Strong presentation, communication, and pre-sales account management skills.
- Expertise in solution designs for large-scale environments.
- Experience with Data Center, Virtualization, and Cloud computing environments.
- Experience in secure Cloud architectures.
- Experience with container orchestration solutions like OpenShift or Kubernetes.
- Advanced experience in one of: Web application security, Denial of Service threats, Authentication and authorization, Automated threats and Bots, or API Security/Management.
- Ability to produce technical documents and diagrams that convey architectural concepts.
- Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), AI/ML concepts, prompt engineering, and model limitations.
- Ability to explain AI architectures clearly to a non-expert audience.
- Knowledge of using AI tools for content search, analysis, generation, and task automation.
Nice to Have
- Comprehensive F5 Solution knowledge or relevant experience with key competitor offerings.
- Relevant certifications.
- Fluent verbal and writing skills in German, French, and English.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and SCM tools.
- Experience in the RFX process.
- Skills with F5 Solutions and Products.
