What You'll Do
Lead the design and evolution of DevOps and DevSecOps practices across the software lifecycle, ensuring secure and efficient delivery. Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using platforms like Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline, GitHub, and Bitbucket.
Develop reusable infrastructure templates using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible to support consistent deployments in cloud and on-premise environments. Support containerised applications on Kubernetes and Docker, handling deployment, scaling, and operational reliability.
Integrate security scanning, compliance checks, and automated testing into delivery workflows. Collaborate with security teams to enforce controls and improve platform resilience. Monitor pipeline performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements to reduce manual effort and increase system stability.
Support incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and operational readiness activities. Contribute to logging, monitoring, and alerting strategies that enhance system observability. Mentor engineers and developers on DevOps principles, and lead knowledge-sharing sessions to close capability gaps.
Requirements
- Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field qualification
- Minimum of 6 years in a senior DevOps or DevSecOps role with hands-on delivery experience
- Proven track record with CI/CD implementation using enterprise DevOps tools
- Strong proficiency in infrastructure-as-code platforms like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience working in AWS or Azure cloud environments
- Scripting skills in YAML, Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, or CKS)
- AWS or Azure cloud/DevOps certifications
- Direct experience with Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, or AKS
- Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, DNS, TLS, and load balancing
- Background in monitoring, logging, and alerting in production systems
- Experience with cloud cost management and capacity planning
