What You'll Do
Drive revenue in a designated Iowa territory by identifying new business opportunities and deepening relationships with healthcare providers, educators, and therapy professionals. Use in-depth knowledge of assistive technology to guide clients toward the most effective communication solutions.
Deliver educational presentations to speech-language pathologists, school districts, medical institutions, and graduate students, focusing on device functionality, clinical benefits, and real-world applications. Prepare quotes, sales materials, and documentation to support purchasing decisions.
Support clients through the funding process by explaining payer requirements and helping ensure submissions are accurate and complete. Partner with internal funding specialists to streamline authorizations and reduce delays.
Maintain consistent oversight of accounts through regular reviews, clinical follow-up, and coordination of resources. Stay current on trends in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and engage with professional networks to strengthen market presence.
Submit accurate sales forecasts, expense reports, and project updates on schedule. Uphold compliance with HIPAA and privacy regulations in all customer interactions.
Requirements
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
- Valid state driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of experience in durable medical equipment sales or a clinical therapy role
- Background as a Speech Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, or Physical Therapist
- Experience with CRM systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics CRM
