Workiva is hiring a Solutions Consultant to join our team. You will provide pre-sales support by developing and presenting Workiva's solutions to address complex customer problems. You'll offer technical expertise to sales through presentations, demonstrations, and value-based messaging, while developing prototypes and proofs of concept.
What You'll Do
- Execute pre-sales framework to engage customers, prospects, and partners via phone, web, or onsite meetings.
- Drive the discovery process and identify areas where Workiva solutions align to address customer/prospect needs.
- Ensure customer success by working with the Client Services team for smooth onboarding and long-term success.
- Demonstrate knowledge across multiple domain areas, developing working knowledge of industries, departments, and use cases.
- Assist in developing new use-cases or using existing templates to provide proof of the solution's impact and value.
- Conduct process assessments with customers, build Proof of Concepts to validate requirements, and present customer-specific business cases.
- May begin to deliver cross-domain coaching, training, or mentoring to peers.
- Work with Product Marketing, Client Services, Scoping, and Customer Success to achieve team and company goals.
- Assist Sales in developing account plans in support of Workiva strategies and objectives.
What We're Looking For
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
- 4 years of experience in finance, accounting, internal audit, software development, technical sales, or a related field.
- Fluency in English and any other Nordic language.
Nice to Have
- Experience engaging with and presenting to business or IT managers and executives.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvement.
- Consultant level in the Big Four or public accounting.
- Hands on technical experience with SaaS solutions, cloud technologies, and architectures.
- Experience with ERP, GRC, GL, FP&A, or Analytics & Reporting solutions.
- Ability to present a value based, compelling software demonstrations.
Team & Environment
You will work with Product Marketing, Client Services, Scoping, Customer Success, and Sales teams.
