About the Role

GRAIL is looking for a Solutions Architect (Open LMS) to serve as the primary technical resource for sales and onboarding processes. In this role, you will translate customer needs into actionable technical solutions and ensure a seamless transition from sales to successful customer implementation.

What You'll Do

  • Meet with customers or sales teams to gather functional and technical requirements and understand challenges.
  • Translate customer needs into actionable technical solutions aligned with Open LMS capabilities.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure technical requirements are captured for sales and onboarding.
  • Conduct technical product demonstrations and presentations to prospective customers.
  • Tailor demos to address specific customer challenges, showing how Open LMS meets business and technical requirements.
  • Present proof of concepts (PoCs) and pilot solutions to demonstrate product feasibility and value.
  • Assist in responding to RFPs and RFIs by providing answers to technical requirements.
  • Support sales teams by drafting technical portions of proposals and ensuring alignment with customer needs.
  • Develop customization specifications as required and work with sales and professional services teams on scoping.
  • Participate in marketing activities, preparing and delivering presentations, demos, and PoCs for pipeline development.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales by providing documentation, discovery, notes, and technical insights.
  • Support Onboarding Project Managers as a dedicated resource for premium onboardings and on demand for standard onboardings.
  • Perform technical analysis for migration to identify issues and provide workarounds, recommendations, and documentation.
  • Support migration projects as a technical resource to guide, help, and migrate clients within Open LMS internal products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including sales, product management, adoption, and onboarding project managers.
  • Act as a liaison between customer and internal teams, providing customer feedback to influence product roadmaps.
  • Work on projects that positively impact the team or company in addition to other job responsibilities.
  • Maintain current product knowledge and learn new products, features, or plugins as required.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 2+ years experience in a client facing role.
  • At least 1+ years experience providing sales support.
  • Proven experience in a solutions architect, pre-sales engineer, or similar technical customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in responding to RFPs and RFIs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

Nice to Have

  • Strong understanding of LMS (Learning Management System) platforms and related technologies.
  • Experience with data migration and project management.

Team & Environment

You will collaborate with internal teams including sales, product management, adoption, and onboarding project managers.

This is a remote position open to candidates based in the UK.
