SAP Software Solutions | Business Applications and Technology is hiring a Solution Sales Expert

About the Role

SAP Software Solutions is seeking a Solution Sales Expert to drive line-of-business cloud revenue and transformation for our Supply Chain Management (SCM) software, specifically the Plan to Deliver sub-solutions. In this pivotal role, you will combine deep SAP expertise with business acumen to accelerate customer adoption of innovation, particularly AI, and position SAP as a market leader.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the designated Line-of-Business owner for assigned accounts, developing multi-year strategic plans and owning the end-to-end relationship.
  • Apply deep SCM applications expertise to map processes, identify gaps, and design a prioritized transformation roadmap for customers.
  • Proactively identify, qualify, and develop expansion opportunities, building a healthy pipeline and coordinating with sales to convert deals.
  • Lead go-to-market efforts for new products and capabilities, with a focus on AI, engaging early with customers to validate concepts and influence roadmaps.
  • Ensure demo systems and enablement assets are production-ready; support tailored demos, proofs-of-concept, and prototypes.
  • Co-create executive-level narratives and ROI analyses; lead strategic discovery workshops to gain executive alignment and accelerate buying decisions.
  • Lead complex commercial discussions on pricing, contract terms, and cloud revenue models.
  • Partner with Customer Success teams to drive usage, monitor consumption, secure references, and manage escalations.
  • Own financial-application deal cycles and renewal negotiations, driving end-to-end field engagement to deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Cultivate C-suite and buying-center relationships, run Quarterly Business Reviews, and convert sponsors into advocates.
  • Manage strategic alliances with consulting and systems integrator partners, co-developing joint solutions and go-to-market approaches.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional execution with Sales, Product, Marketing, Solution Architects, and Delivery teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP solutions, market trends, and competitor activity to position differentiated offerings.

What We're Looking For

  • A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven subject matter expertise and a track record of selling Supply Chain Management/Plan to Deliver solutions over the most recent 4+ years.
  • Quota-carrying sales experience with a management consulting profile, plus 10-15 years of industry or practitioner experience driving software sales.
  • Proven executive relationship building skills with C-suite influence.
  • B2B enterprise experience with multi-stakeholder SaaS sales cycles, top-tier consulting background, and deep industry expertise.
  • Experience in account management, solution sales, or customer success roles.
  • Strong understanding of solution sales methodologies and a proven expansion selling track record for account growth.
  • Deep domain expertise in SCM (Plan To Deliver) applications and a strong understanding of AI and innovation trends.
  • Ability to map value levers, create quantified ROI storytelling, and build compelling business cases.
  • Strategic thinking, business acumen, and client advocacy skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed environment and influence without direct authority.
  • Analytical mindset focused on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
