Ensono is hiring a Solution Architect

The Solution Architect drives pre-sales efforts by designing and delivering commercially sound, multi-tower IT solutions. This role works closely with sales and cross-functional teams to shape deals involving cloud, managed services, and IT transformation, ensuring alignment with client objectives and financial success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and ownership of large, complex, multi-tower solution designs throughout the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to influence deal scope, structure, pricing, and value proposition, not just support them.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across sales, consulting, product, finance, legal, and delivery to develop competitive solutions.
  • Facilitate client workshops to gather requirements and design solutions that meet business goals and commercial constraints.
  • Develop and deliver persuasive solution narratives and business justifications to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Design commercial frameworks and pricing models for IT outsourcing, managed services, cloud, and transformation engagements.
  • Support post-sale transition by ensuring clear handoff, documentation, and knowledge transfer to delivery teams.
  • Create and refine client-facing materials, including proposals, presentations, and solution assets, often from the ground up.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a pre-sales Solution Architect or similar role at an IT services provider or managed service provider.
  • Successfully closed 10 or more IT outsourcing, cloud, or transformation deals with $50 million or greater total contract value.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead or support large-scale, complex IT transformation, managed services, or cloud engagements.
  • Strong understanding of complex sales cycles, including financial, contractual, and business considerations.
  • Broad technical expertise in data center, hosting, hybrid cloud, and managed services environments.
  • Familiarity with pricing strategies, multi-year financial models, and deal economics.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with C-suite executives and influence decision-making at senior levels.
  • Skilled in analyzing technical, financial, and contractual challenges with strong problem-solving capabilities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and hybrid cloud architectures.

Compensation

Estimated $151,000 to $205,000 annually. Includes equity grant under the Associate Equity Appreciation Program based on role. Sales incentive plan applicable.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid — flexible and remote work supported; in-person presence required during key phases of sales pursuits and client engagements.

Team

Operates in a pod model paired with another Solution Architect, closely aligned with a dedicated sales leader.

Additional Information
