Nationale-Nederlanden is seeking a Solution Architect to design and deliver technology solutions aligned with enterprise architecture, data strategy, and business goals. Your focus will be on creating sustainable, scalable, and high-quality data, AI, and cloud solutions for the life insurance industry.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with tech leads, architects, engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to design solutions for diverse business use cases.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architectures, technology roadmaps, and sustainability goals by working with the broader architecture community.
- Prepare clear solution designs, POCs, and documentation highlighting business impact, compliance, ethics, and DevOps/MLOps principles.
- Evaluate design options, provide architectural recommendations, and communicate decisions and trade-offs.
- Lead hands-on development and quality assurance in cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Mentor engineers and developers on architecture best practices.
- Assess current technologies and create a vision for modern, headless, and MASA architectures.
- Integrate non-functional requirements like scalability, security, performance, and reliability using knowledge of integration platforms and modern frameworks.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 5 years of experience designing, executing, and supporting IT data and cloud solutions.
- Strong expertise in cloud computing technologies and current industry trends, especially Microsoft Azure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of clearly articulating complex technical information to management and IT partners.
- Positive attitude and strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively within diverse and international teams.
Nice to Have
- Microsoft Azure Certified Solutions Expert or equivalent certification.
