About the Role

Wipro is looking for a Solution Architect to provide exceptional architectural solution design and thought leadership. In this role, you will enable delivery teams to achieve outstanding client engagement and satisfaction through robust, scalable, and manageable enterprise solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Develop architectural solutions for new deals and major change requests in existing deals.
  • Create an enterprise-wide architecture ensuring systems are scalable, reliable, and manageable.
  • Provide solutioning for RFPs and ensure overall design assurance.
  • Develop a direction to manage the portfolio of to-be-solutions to better match business outcome objectives.
  • Analyze technology environment, enterprise specifics, and client requirements to set a collaboration solution design framework.
  • Provide technical leadership to the design, development, and implementation of custom solutions using modern technology.
  • Define current state solutions and identify improvements, options, and tradeoffs to define target state solutions.
  • Articulate, document, and sell architectural targets, recommendations, reusable patterns, and investment roadmaps.
  • Evaluate and recommend solutions to integrate with the overall technology ecosystem.
  • Work closely with various IT groups to transition tasks, ensure performance, and manage issues.
  • Perform detailed documentation of the architectural design and solution.
  • Validate solutions from technology, cost structure, and customer differentiation perspectives.
  • Identify problem areas, perform root cause analysis of architectural designs, and provide relevant solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales, program/project, and consulting teams to reconcile solutions to architecture.
  • Track industry and application trends and relate these to planning current and future IT needs.
  • Provide technical and strategic input during the project planning phase.
  • Collaborate with relevant parties to review solution objectives and constraints and determine conformance with Enterprise Architecture.
  • Identify implementation risks and potential impacts.
  • Enable Delivery Teams by providing optimal delivery solutions and frameworks.
  • Build and maintain relationships with executives, technical leaders, product owners, peer architects, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and establish relevant technical, business process, and overall support metrics (KPI/SLA).
  • Manage multiple projects and accurately report the status of all major assignments.
  • Identify technical, process, and structural risks and prepare a risk mitigation plan.
  • Ensure quality assurance of all architecture or design decisions and provide technical mitigation support.
  • Recommend tools for reuse and automation for improved productivity and reduced cycle times.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of enterprise framework and related artifacts.
  • Ensure architecture principles and standards are consistently applied.
  • Ensure optimal Client Engagement.
  • Support the pre-sales team while presenting the entire solution design and its principles to the client.
  • Negotiate, manage, and coordinate with client teams to ensure all requirements are met.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership with strong technical capability in front of the client.
  • Ensure completion of necessary trainings and certifications.
  • Develop Proof of Concepts, case studies, and demos for new growth areas based on market and customer research.
  • Develop and present a point of view of Wipro on solution design and architecture by writing white papers and blogs.
  • Attain market referencability and recognition through highest analyst rankings, client testimonials, and partner credits.
  • Be the voice of Wipro's Thought Leadership by speaking in forums.
  • Mentor developers, designers, and Junior architects for their further career development.
  • Contribute to the architecture practice by conducting selection interviews.
  • Anticipate new talent requirements as per market/industry trends or client requirements.
  • Hire adequate and right resources for the team.
  • Ensure adequate onboarding and training for team members.
