PA Consulting is looking for a Solution Architect to join our Digital & Data community. In this role, you will design and deliver architecture solutions for clients across various sectors, working within established governance and target operating models. You will lead solution design, work closely with engineering teams, and support senior client leaders in shaping their technology strategies.
What You'll Do
- Design and deliver architecture solutions within governance and target operating models using methodologies like Waterfall, SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.
- Work closely with Engineering teams, often taking a lead SME role to define vision, establish Architectural Guardrails, Architecture Runways, and Detailed Designs.
- Lead the solution design and architecture for Low-Code based projects and business opportunities.
- Own, create, and assure key architecture artefacts such as Key Design Decisions, Technical Options Papers, High Level Designs, Low Level Designs, Reference Architectures, and Roadmaps.
- Support client senior leaders to help shape their case for change, leading on cost estimation and supporting creation of detailed planning and benefits realisation.
- Use consulting and stakeholder management skills to inform, engage, and influence colleagues and decision makers across client businesses.
What We're Looking For

- You enjoy collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- You are confident using architecture skills across the full range of architectural domains (Business, Data, Application, Technology, Security), with a specialism in at least one.
- You have a clear understanding and practical application of architecture and delivery methodologies such as TOGAF and SAFe.
- You understand and can apply architecture modelling tools and frameworks to communicate ideas: UML, ArchiMate, Ardoq, and others.
- You can design and deliver architecture solutions within governance and target operating models, using a range of ways of working and delivery methodologies: Waterfall, SAFe, Scrum, Kanban.
