Role Overview
This position serves as a critical enabler for executive leadership, functioning as both a tactical operator and strategic partner. The Executive Business Partner ensures that senior leaders can focus on high-impact decisions by removing administrative barriers, optimizing workflows, and maintaining momentum across key initiatives. This role is central to the efficiency and scalability of the executive office.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee complex scheduling with strategic foresight, protecting time for critical priorities while accommodating urgent external engagements such as investor discussions and executive meetings.
- Attend leadership sessions as a silent observer, extract actionable outcomes, and drive follow-through by coordinating with department leads to ensure commitments are tracked and fulfilled.
- Prepare executives daily by distilling lengthy reports into clear, concise summaries with relevant context to support informed decision-making.
- Serve as the primary liaison for board members, external partners, and acquisition targets, maintaining a professional and consistent representation of the executive team.
- Lead cross-functional projects including board offsites, fundraising logistics, and executive speaking arrangements, ensuring flawless execution and alignment with organizational goals.
- Identify inefficiencies in communication or process between leadership and departments, then implement solutions to improve information flow and accountability.
- Handle sensitive travel arrangements, expense reporting, and confidential documentation with precision and discretion, often involving international coordination.
- Integrate modern tools—including AI platforms, CRM systems, and project management software—to automate routine tasks and enhance overall office productivity.
Qualifications
Candidates must be U.S. citizens and either hold or be eligible to obtain a Secret security clearance. A minimum of seven years supporting C-level executives—preferably in fast-moving or high-growth environments—is required, along with at least five years of experience in government contracting. The ideal candidate remains composed under pressure, approaches challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset, and consistently offers multiple resolution paths. A strong sense of urgency, discretion, and mastery of communication are essential.
Proficiency with G-Suite, Microsoft 365, Slack, Notion, Asana, and related productivity platforms is expected. Willingness and ability to travel when necessary is required.
Preferred Background
A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
