Grupo Bancolombia is seeking a Software Middleware Engineer to ensure high availability for the organization's application environments. You will manage middleware applications and coordinate technical activities to guarantee software solutions communicate and integrate effectively. What You'll Do
- Perform the full lifecycle management (analyze, design, code, test, deploy, stabilize) of middleware applications within your domain, employing software development best practices.
- Implement, administer, and provide user support for middleware solutions.
- Install, configure, and keep middleware applications updated.
- Analyze necessary changes and provide recommendations for implementation.
- Ensure compliance with standards, guidelines, and best practices defined by the bank and industry (security, architecture, performance).
- Continuously update the technical knowledge required for your domain, sharing expertise with team members and others who may require it.
- Create necessary documentation for developed solutions and register it in the repositories defined by Bancolombia.
- Collaborate within a team following the frameworks adopted by the Bank, acting as a technical reference for the team.
What We're Looking For
- University degree in Systems Engineering or related fields.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, IBM ACE, MQ, Git, DevOps practices, and Kubernetes.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Middleware Engineer.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and resourcefulness.
- Ability for self-management and self-training.
- Initiative, proactivity, and a self-learning mindset.
Nice to Have
- Desirable knowledge of Api Connect.
- Desirable knowledge of JavaScript.
