PartnerStack is looking for a Software Engineering - Team Lead to serve as a dual leader: a highly proficient developer and an emerging people manager. You will directly contribute to our codebase while guiding and growing your engineering team, focusing on driving consistent, high-quality execution.
What You'll Do
- Actively participate in recruitment to build a high-performing, cross-functional engineering team.
- Write, test, and maintain high-quality application code, consistently contributing to the team's codebase.
- Balance your time effectively between hands-on coding and people leadership responsibilities.
- Drive efficient and predictable delivery through consistent Agile/Scrum practices, tracking and improving team performance.
- Foster strong day-to-day collaboration with Product Management and Design partners.
- Provide direct coaching and mentorship to individual team members, focusing on their technical growth and code quality.
- Actively contribute to technical design and architecture discussions, guiding day-to-day technical decisions.
- Champion a positive, inclusive, and highly productive team culture that encourages collaboration and continuous learning.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer or existing Team Lead.
- Demonstrated aptitude and passion for people leadership, including direct experience mentoring and coaching developers.
- Deep, hands-on technical expertise in modern web technologies, SaaS architectures, cloud platforms, and scalable backend/frontend systems.
- Experience building and shipping features for large-scale B2B SaaS applications in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Commitment to continuous technical learning and skill enhancement as a software developer.
