At Jobgether, we are looking for a Software Engineering Manager - Focus to lead a team responsible for the complete software experience of an advanced camera product line. You will oversee application and integration layers across device, cloud, and mobile platforms, driving technical strategy while mentoring engineers.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of 4–8 software engineers, supporting professional growth and fostering a culture of collaboration.
- Define technical strategy and ensure alignment with organizational goals, translating product priorities into engineering efforts.
- Oversee the development of end-to-end software experiences, including edge AI-enabled devices, cloud services, and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Operations to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Facilitate Agile practices, actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, and promote iterative, data-driven development.
- Review and assess code quality, system architecture, and process efficiency to optimize team output.
- Partner with leadership to define roadmap priorities, evaluate technical risks, and implement scalable solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in software engineering leadership with a track record of delivering scalable, high-quality solutions.
- Strong background in cloud technologies and building end-to-end software systems.
- Excellent strategic thinking with the ability to define technical direction and guide teams toward successful outcomes.
- Hands-on mentoring skills, supporting the growth and development of individual engineers.
- Exceptional communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid or remote environment within specified U.S. states.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with C#, React, React Native, Rust, Python, MongoDB, and AWS.
- Demonstrated experience in product partnership and roadmap planning.
