Power Digital is hiring a Software Engineering Manager to lead at the intersection of engineering, AI, and product. You’ll empower a team to push boundaries and deliver high-impact solutions in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

What You'll Do

• Champion the integration of AI technologies and automation into every stage of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Utilize and advance Power Digital’s nova ecosystem, embedding AI in engineering and product processes.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers to deliver reliable, scalable, and innovative cloud-based applications.
• Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and foster career growth through feedback and upskilling.
• Grow the product engineering team by actively participating in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and technical leaders to scope, plan, and deliver high-impact initiatives.
• Break down complex initiatives into manageable, iterative tasks for your team.
• Ensure consistent delivery of features and enhancements on tight timelines, balancing velocity and quality.
• Lead agile ceremonies and drive the day-to-day activities of the engineering team, minimizing process overhead.
• Collaborate with other engineering managers and tech leads to continuously improve department culture and practices.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and leverage your technical expertise to refine how we work, ship, and support our products.
• Measure, analyze, and report on team performance, output, and impact using real data.

What We're Looking For

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years hands-on object-oriented programming experience in at least one major language (Java, .NET, PHP, Python, Go, Node, etc.).
• 2+ years experience managing and growing engineering teams of 3+ engineers.
• Demonstrated experience recruiting, hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing engineers.
• Proven track record breaking down complex projects and shipping features to production on time.
• Strong advocate for integrating AI/automation into engineering processes and products.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and crisp written and verbal communication.
• Positive, pragmatic, and driven—your team trusts you because you’re in the trenches with them.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English at an advanced level.
