Join Alan as a Software Engineer (x/f/m) focused on Growth & Brand. You will be the growth engine behind Alan's self-serve member acquisition, building systems that directly convert prospects into members and fuel sales teams with qualified leads. Your code directly determines how fast Alan grows, impacting member acquisition and revenue.
What You'll Do
- Build and optimize alan.com - the high-traffic platform where millions discover Alan and convert into members across all markets.
- Power up all acquisition channels (paid, SEO, LLM, etc.) that drive organic and paid traffic at scale.
- Develop seamless self-serve conversion experiences that let prospects become members instantly.
- Support broader business initiatives, including partnership integrations, accountant tools, referral systems, and brand campaigns.
- Build infrastructure that gets reused across Alan, powering legal pages, RFP responses, product launches, and onboarding.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Good experience building and shipping web applications.
- Genuine interest in the business side - understanding conversion funnels, marketing metrics, and what drives growth.
- Clear progression in career - increasing responsibility, scope, and impact over time.
- Open to working with TypeScript and Python in a cross-platform environment.
- Familiar with modern web technologies and proficient in Object-Oriented Programming (Python, Java, Swift, Kotlin, or C#).
- Self-starting and entrepreneurial.
- Humble and still willing to grow.
- Collaborative, enthusiastic about teamwork, learning, and teaching.
- English working proficiency.
- Must be legally eligible to work in France, Belgium, or Spain.
