About the Role
The Software Engineer, Reporting & Insights will be responsible for creating and improving data-driven insights and reporting tools. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data needs, design and implement reporting solutions, and ensure data accuracy and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, experience with data analysis, and a passion for turning data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain reporting and analytics tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand data requirements.
- Implement and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and security.
- Create and maintain data visualizations and dashboards.
- Develop and implement data models and algorithms.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and insights.
- Work with stakeholders to define and prioritize data needs.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and analytics.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of coding standards.
- Provide technical support and training to team members as needed.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of data governance policies.
- Work on improving the performance and scalability of data systems.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to integrate data insights into products.
- Develop and maintain APIs for data access and integration.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
- Participate in the planning and execution of data projects.
- Contribute to the development of data-driven strategies and initiatives.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to support business decisions.
- Work on enhancing the user experience of data tools and dashboards.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors on data-related projects.
- Participate in the development and implementation of data quality standards.
- Contribute to the development of data-driven marketing and sales strategies.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Proficiency in data science and machine learning frameworks.
- Experience with data-driven customer experience (CX) initiatives.
- Knowledge of data-driven customer relationship management (CRM).
- Experience with data-driven marketing automation and personalization.
- Familiarity with data-driven customer journey mapping and optimization.
- Experience with data-driven customer segmentation and targeting.
- Knowledge of data-driven customer analytics and insights.
- Experience with data-driven customer feedback and sentiment analysis.
