About the Role
This role involves conducting in-depth security assessments of 5G networks throughout ASEAN, identifying systemic risks, and delivering actionable recommendations to improve resilience against cyber threats.
Responsibilities
- Conduct penetration tests on 5G network components
- Identify security flaws in telecom systems
- Assess risks associated with network architecture
- Collaborate with regional technical teams
- Document vulnerabilities and remediation steps
- Deliver findings to stakeholders in clear reports
- Stay current with evolving 5G threats
- Test network interfaces for unauthorized access points
- Evaluate security of core and radio access networks
- Perform red teaming exercises on infrastructure
- Support compliance with security standards
- Analyze protocol implementations for weaknesses
- Simulate real-world attack scenarios
- Review configurations of network equipment
- Assess third-party service provider security
- Work with vendors to validate patches
- Develop custom testing tools when needed
- Contribute to internal knowledge base
- Participate in incident response drills
- Advise on secure deployment practices
- Test interconnections between networks
- Evaluate encryption mechanisms in use
- Assess access control models
- Monitor for anomalous network behavior
- Provide feedback on security design
