About the Role
This position leads end-to-end sales cycles by identifying opportunities, engaging decision-makers, and closing deals with association organizations. The role requires deep understanding of client needs and the ability to align solutions effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle sales processes targeting professional associations and membership organizations
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach and networking
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders in association leadership
- Conduct needs assessments to understand client challenges and objectives
- Present tailored solutions that address specific organizational goals
- Negotiate contracts and finalize agreements with new and existing clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client success
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and sales activities in CRM systems
- Deliver product demonstrations customized to audience needs
- Stay informed about industry trends affecting association clients
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and webinars as a representative
- Provide feedback to product and marketing teams based on client input
- Manage a dynamic sales pipeline with regular forecasting updates
- Support cross-functional initiatives related to market expansion
