About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead the evaluation and approval of complex sales deals
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure competitive pricing proposals
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial guidelines
- Review contracts for accuracy, profitability, and risk mitigation
- Serve as a liaison between sales, legal, and finance departments
- Maintain deal desk workflows and approval processes
- Identify trends in deal structures and recommend process improvements
- Support timely deal closure through accurate documentation
- Provide guidance on discounting strategies and margin thresholds
- Track and report on key deal desk performance metrics
- Assist in onboarding and training new sales personnel on deal processes
- Manage escalations related to pricing and contract terms
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and pricing models
- Work with legal to ensure contract language meets compliance standards
- Facilitate communication during multi-team deal negotiations
- Optimize deal desk tools and systems for efficiency
- Monitor adherence to approval hierarchies
- Support quarterly business reviews with sales leadership
- Ensure data integrity in CRM and deal management platforms
- Drive consistency in deal terms across regional markets
- Evaluate special bid requests and exceptions
- Coordinate with finance on revenue recognition implications
- Improve turnaround time for deal approvals
- Maintain documentation of deal desk policies
- Contribute to the development of sales enablement resources
Nice to Have
- MBA or advanced degree in business or finance
- Certification in sales operations or revenue management
- Direct experience in SaaS or enterprise software companies
- Familiarity with global deal desk practices
- Experience mentoring junior deal desk analysts
- Knowledge of Latin American market dynamics
- Prior work with legal teams on contract frameworks
- Hands-on experience with automation tools for deal workflows
