Responsibilities
- Perform field investigations to evaluate soil, water, and air quality
- Collect and analyze environmental samples using standard protocols
- Prepare technical reports on site conditions and findings
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations
- Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
- Interpret environmental data to identify potential risks
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies during inspections and reviews
- Assist in developing remediation plans for contaminated sites
- Maintain accurate field logs and documentation
- Operate environmental monitoring equipment
- Review project plans for environmental impact considerations
- Participate in site visits and stakeholder meetings
- Ensure health and safety protocols are followed during field operations
- Track project timelines and deliverables
- Communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Support emergency response activities when required
- Use GIS tools for spatial data analysis
- Assist in permitting processes for environmental projects
- Stay current with changes in environmental legislation
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists on multidisciplinary teams
