About the Role
Develop and maintain core functionality for an iOS application used by millions, focusing on performance, scalability, and user experience improvements.
Responsibilities
- Build and optimize features for iOS applications used by a large user base
- Collaborate with product and design teams to implement intuitive user interfaces
- Improve app stability, performance, and code quality
- Work closely with backend teams to integrate APIs and services
- Ensure compatibility across multiple iOS devices and versions
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
- Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported issues
- Implement analytics and monitoring tools to track app behavior
- Stay current with iOS platform developments and best practices
- Contribute to architectural decisions for long-term scalability
- Support app store deployment and update cycles
- Follow agile development methodologies in sprint planning and delivery
- Mentor other engineers and promote knowledge sharing
- Ensure compliance with privacy and security standards
- Optimize app startup time and memory usage
- Integrate third-party libraries and SDKs when necessary
- Conduct unit and integration testing for new features
- Collaborate on accessibility improvements for diverse users
- Use version control systems effectively in team environments
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical issues
- Refactor legacy code to improve maintainability
- Help define engineering standards and best practices
- Work on offline functionality and data synchronization
- Support internationalization and localization efforts
