Responsibilities
- Develop AI-native interfaces such as agent chat surfaces, ambient agents with visible and reviewable work, entity relationship diagrams, and views that clarify multi-decade projections.
- Take ownership of frontend architecture including component patterns, Apollo cache and state management, performance optimization, and shared primitives for the team.
- Collaborate daily with experienced product designers and the Head of Design, providing early input while changes are still inexpensive.
- Ensure completeness by addressing empty states, loading behaviors, and keyboard navigation to create a delightful and trustworthy user experience.
Requirements
- At least four years of software engineering experience, primarily in frontend work, at companies with strong engineering practices.
- A commitment to quality, noticing and fixing issues like slow performance or animation jank.
- Curiosity about the domain, willing to learn about trusts and transfer tax to inform presentation decisions.
- Proficiency with React, TypeScript, GraphQL (Apollo), and Playwright as daily tools.
- Sufficient backend experience to influence the design of APIs you consume.
- Strong communication skills, especially in a remote-friendly environment where overcommunication is key.
