Join Lucidya as a Senior Backend Engineer and play a key role in developing our AI-native customer experience platform. You will build and scale backend systems and APIs in a remote, result-driven environment.
What You'll Do
- Rapidly develop next-generation scalable, flexible, and high-performance systems.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software, focusing on backend and databases.
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Perform DevOps tasks from server setup to maintenance and recovery.
- Contribute to team growth through interviewing, onboarding, or other recruitment efforts.
What We're Looking For
- BA/BS or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong knowledge in SQL and NoSQL databases such as Redis, Postgres, or Cassandra.
- Fluency in Python and Ruby on Rails.
- Knowledge of web servers and application servers (e.g., Apache, Jetty, Tomcat, IIS).
- Experience with code repositories like Git.
- Database design skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and tight timelines.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Full-stack experience, particularly with a background in ReactJS.
