What You'll Do
You will diagnose and resolve technical issues across applications, APIs, and data integrations by analyzing logs, monitoring systems, and SQL outputs. Using tools like Postman, you'll inspect JSON and HTTP traffic to replicate and understand faults. Your work will include identifying root causes of incidents and proposing structural fixes to development teams.
You'll contribute directly to code improvements for bug resolution, focusing on diagnosis rather than full-cycle development. Monitoring service performance and reliability is a key part of your role, ensuring systems run efficiently. You'll also act as the technical contact for external partners, clearly communicating complex issues and solutions.
Requirements
You hold a bachelor’s degree in IT or have equivalent experience. You're comfortable working with programming concepts and have practical experience using logging and monitoring platforms such as Datadog, Splunk, or Sentry. Proficiency in Excel, PowerShell, and SQL is essential, along with a solid grasp of JSON and HTTP-based API flows—Postman is a key tool in your workflow.
Fluency in English is required, with basic knowledge of Dutch and French preferred. You approach problems methodically and can clearly explain technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences. You work well in teams but are also capable of independent investigation. This role requires presence on-site two days per week in Leuven.
