Jobgether is hiring a Software Development Engineer II to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of modern web and mobile applications. In this remote role, you will work across cloud platforms, backend services, and front-end frameworks while collaborating closely with product teams and designers.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Microsoft .NET technologies, including C#, .NET Core, LINQ, Entity Framework, and REST APIs.
- Build and integrate services leveraging modern frameworks such as Angular and cloud platforms like Azure.
- Contribute to software architecture discussions, offering technical feedback to improve design and implementation.
- Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate unfamiliar issues, propose solutions, and mitigate potential risks.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions for web and mobile applications.
What We're Looking For
- 3–4 years of professional development experience with C#, Angular, NoSQL, and SQL databases.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, and caching technologies like Redis.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and software design principles.
- Experience with unit testing, performance, and scalability testing practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Ability to work independently, make decisions, and apply creativity to solve technical problems.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and development processes.
Nice to Have
- Experience building distributed systems in Azure using ServiceBus, EventGrid, and ElasticSearch.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proven ability to develop with minimal supervision.
