Jobgether is looking for a Software Developer to contribute to modernizing and enhancing critical operational software systems for a high-impact government program. You will design, implement, and maintain applications and utilities that streamline workflows, support automation, and improve overall efficiency in a fully remote capacity.
What You'll Do
- Develop, maintain, and enhance software solutions to support operational modernization efforts.
- Create and maintain Chatbots and other automation tools to improve efficiency.
- Analyze user needs and translate requirements into functional software applications.
- Triage incidents, determine root causes, and implement fixes or enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver projects on time.
- Test software, document issues, and manage bug resolution using tools like Jira.
- Support software design and database development to optimize operational workflows.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow and AWS development.
- Proven experience developing Chatbots or similar automation solutions.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal clearance (USCIS Public Trust).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT modernization projects.
- Experience analyzing user requirements and delivering tailored software solutions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience on USCIS projects or ELIS tools.
- Experience supervising multi-vendor software projects and coordinating with diverse teams.
