Responsibilities
- Deliver direct educational and social services to students.
- Collaborate with parents, educators, and other professionals to foster supportive academic and social environments for all students.
- Apply data-driven decision-making in multidisciplinary collaboration, functional behavior assessments, and behavioral strategies.
- Develop leadership skills to effectively support student success.
- Design positive behavioral and academic interventions.
- Track and report student progress, conduct evaluations and program assessments, and consult with educational staff, parents, and other professionals.
- Occasionally travel locally to other Menta locations as needed.
Requirements
- Certified School Social Worker (IL PEL Certificate)
- Certified School Counselor (IL PEL Certificate)
- MSW with LSW
- LCSW
- LCPC
- LPC
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong consultative and data analysis abilities
- Creative thinker capable of developing a wide range of interventions for a diverse student population
- Excellent communication skills
Nice to Have
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required
