First Division Consulting is hiring a part-time, remote Social Media Specialist to develop and execute our social media strategy. You will increase our company's visibility, promote our brand, and manage online engagement with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Manage day-to-day posting on platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across our social channels.
- Create and publish engaging content, including posts for 11 federal holidays, company events, employee highlights, job postings, awards, and charitable engagements.
- Routinely repost relevant content from key accounts such as US Military Services, NASA, and the EOD Warrior Foundation.
- Update and maintain the content, design, and information on the FirstDiv company website.
- Optimize website accessibility and aesthetic.
- Monitor employee review sites like Glassdoor.
- Keep all social media profiles and bios current and relevant.
What We're Looking For
- A High School Diploma.
- 2-5 years of direct experience in social media marketing.
- Strong knowledge of core social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter (X), Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to create compelling content and graphics.
- Ability to work remotely and autonomously with strong self-motivation.
- Experience using social media analytics and reporting tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
