Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, creative direction, and daily output of the German organic social channels.
- Develop, script, produce, film, edit, and publish short-form content native to each platform, including seller visits, event coverage, and street-style formats, either hosting or directing creators and on-screen talent.
- Identify and commission relevant German creators across priority categories and communities, managing outreach, fee negotiation, onboarding, briefing, creative direction, and feedback.
- Create a distinctive set of repeatable formats and owned series that the German branch becomes known for.
- Quickly test new ideas, learn from performance data, and continuously improve formats, hooks, and execution.
- Collaborate with Category Marketing and other teams to identify launches, events, and cultural moments where social media can have the greatest impact.
- Build clear, scalable workflows for content planning, production, creator commissioning, approvals, and reporting.
Requirements
- 5+ years in organic social media, with experience owning both strategy and execution.
- At least C1 level German and strong working English.
- A proven track record of growing a channel's reach and audience, not just maintaining its posting schedule.
- Hands-on experience scripting, producing, filming, and editing short-form video.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong creative judgment and platform-native thinking across Instagram and TikTok.
- Experience working with creators, including sourcing, outreach, negotiation, briefing, and feedback.
- Confidence in interpreting social performance data and using it to decide what to repeat, improve, or stop.
- Strong organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple productions and creator projects simultaneously.
- Comfort building the playbook as you go, testing and learning while maintaining a strong weekly content cadence.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with teams across Europe and the US.
